1.3 Marriage and More

“Oh Derrick,” Danielle said. “Let’s just get married right now.” She looked at Derrick with pleading eyes and he agreed. Danielle jumped for joy and got out her phone to invite a few people she had met from the salon.

Derrick and her then got in Derrick’s beat up car and drove back to Danielle’s place.

Danielle looked very embarrassed about her “home,” but Derrick didn’t seem bothered by it. He loved the outdoors.

Once everyone arrived, Derrick and Danielle exchanged rings that Danielle had received from her grandmother and grandfather before they died. Danielle had never been happier.

Everyone cheered for them and they were both very happy.

With the little money Derrick had brought it, they were able to put walls around their house. Danielle was very happy with the final product. She had her man and a lovely house.

To celebrate their new house, Derrick and Danielle made love after the wedding. They both loved being in each other’s arms and it was the best feeling in the world.

Along with fun and happiness, Derrick also brought lots of help to the Barringer household.

He would do the laundry while Danielle was sleeping,

and cook for her.

Even though Derrick wasn’t the greatest cook, Danielle ate his food anyways.

But then one day, she felt a little nauseous.

She hadn’t ate any of Derricks burnt food lately and she could’ve sworn she was taking birth control pills, but maybe she had missed one.

Then, the next day, Danielle took and pregnancy test. It turned out positive.

She was pregnant.
